What does it do?

Pritchard's Particle Mod changes the settings for particle effects in the game to make them better match the road surface. It also changes the particle effects for cars which have taken critical damage, so that they now emit a plume of "blue smoke", a common sign of engine trouble.
 

Performance

Personally, I have noticed no dip in performance when developing this mod. That does not mean that it has no effect however - particles are denser and persist for much longer, so those with weaker computers may notice an impact. Hopefully for most people it will not be too severe, although performance feedback is appreciated and will be considered.
